Your Next Chair
NewSee who's open. Book the opening.
Short version: Your Next Chair gives a salon-suite building one page that shows which pros can take a client right now, pulled from the booking apps they already use. A walk-in scans a code at the door, picks a service, and books on that pro's own page. Nobody switches apps.
yournextchair.comThe problem: one door, dozens of calendars
A salon-suite building is dozens of independent businesses behind one front door. Every pro runs their own booking app, so nobody at the front knows who's free.
A customer who can't find an open chair in about a minute leaves. That's a lost ticket for the pro and, for the owner, one more reason a pro might lease somewhere else.
And you can't fix it by moving everyone to one system. Pros picked GlossGenius, Square, or Vagaro on purpose. Anything that asks them to switch is dead on arrival.
How it works: read, never write
It reads each pro's calendar to find open time, shows all of it in one place, and gets out of the way. The booking happens where it always has.
- 01Pros connect once. Each pro pastes one calendar link from their booking app. Two minutes, no login, no new app. Only busy and free times are read.
- 02Customers see who's open. At the door, on the lobby TV, or from the building's Google listing: pick a service, see every pro with an opening, soonest first, with the suite number.
- 03They book on the pro's page. One tap lands on that pro's own GlossGenius, Square, or Vagaro page. The pro gets a normal booking. The building gets the credit.
What a building owner gets
A lobby screen that runs itself
Shows who's taking clients now and who's next, redrawn every minute from real calendars. Any TV with a browser works. No slides, no USB stick.
Tracked QR codes
One for the door, the suites, and the screen, so the owner knows which spot actually sends clients.
One link for Google and ads
Lands on real openings, with every click counted by campaign.
Suite inquiries
Flip on "Suites available" and the same page collects names and numbers from pros looking for a suite.
A results page
Taps, walk-ins, and which pros are getting clients, ready to forward to corporate.
There's a live demo building on the how it works page, with the customer's phone view and the lobby TV side by side. Tap it, it's real.

Why I built it
A salon-suite owner came to SuperDupr wanting one "virtual queue" for walk-ins across dozens of pros on different booking apps. Nothing on the market did it without forcing everyone onto one platform. So I built it, and it turned out every suite building has the same problem.
I spent 12 years managing snowboard and mountain-bike shops before I wrote software. A walk-in who leaves because nobody could tell them who's free is the oldest leak in retail. This is that fix, for buildings with no front desk.
Your Next Chair FAQ
- What is Your Next Chair?
- A live openings page for salon-suite buildings. It reads each pro's calendar from the booking app they already use, shows every opening in the building in one place, soonest first, and sends the customer to that pro's own booking page to book.
- Do the pros have to switch booking apps?
- No. Each pro pastes one calendar link from GlossGenius, Square, Vagaro, Booksy, or Google Calendar. It takes about two minutes, there's no new login or app, and only busy and free times are read. Bookings still happen in their own app.
- How much does Your Next Chair cost?
- It's priced per location: $149 a month for 1 to 2 locations, $129 for 3 to 5, and $99 for 6 or more. The first 30 days are free with no card to start, and there's no setup fee or contract.
- Who built Your Next Chair?
- I did. It started as a custom build for a salon-suite owner and became its own product. It's built the same lean way I build everything: Rails 8, SQLite, and Hotwire on a single small server.
