- For most small businesses in 2026, Claude is the stronger choice when work involves long documents, Microsoft 365, structured reasoning over real business context, or any of the 8 native connectors Claude for Small Business ships with (QuickBooks, HubSpot, Google Workspace, Slack, Canva, DocuSign, PayPal, Microsoft 365). ChatGPT is broader as a general-purpose chat assistant. But the choice matters less than the implementation — a structured Claude or ChatGPT setup beats ad-hoc use of either by 3–4x.
- Which Claude model is best for business?
- Claude Sonnet (currently 4.6, as of June 2026) is the workhorse for nearly every business workflow — fast enough for real-time drafts, strong reasoning at a reasonable cost. Claude Opus (4.7) is overkill for most SMB workflows and costs significantly more — reserve it for complex reasoning tasks or one-shot heavy lifts. Claude Haiku is fine for high-volume simple tasks. Claude for Small Business uses whichever models your Claude Team plan includes — most owners default to Sonnet for daily work.
- What can Claude do for my small business?
- Out of the box, Claude for Small Business runs 15 pre-built workflows across the 8 native connectors — invoice chasing, cash-flow snapshots, monthly close prep, lead triage, calendar planning, customer-service drafts, content drafts, and more.
